Hey, Alex, I have had some Mayfield High School former band students of your asking about you.....so I told them about seeing you and yours in a concert at good old Murray State a few years ago.....loved talking with you and listening to you all singing.....I bought your cd with you and Galilee....love everyone of the songs.....you and Lee Egbert, and Jack Henry were the greatest student teachers ever......then to have you go on and be so successful is just wonderful.....so proud to say that I had you for a student director and to know someone as successful......also I was very fortunate to be in the band with Kent Robbins from Mayfield.....also a very successful songwriter, but stayed the same nice Kent....God took him way too early from us, but I am sure he is making music in Heaven......my hat is off to from a Mayfield High School drummer...... Soooo...when is the wedding? It's been way too long since you asked that gorgeous beauty of yours to marry you. She's not only a beauty, she's got an enormously wonderful voice and brains. What's the hold up?

Hey, if someone is home please create a Wikipedia page for Alex. Also, somewhere somehow on Facebook or YouTube or MySpace please post "I Like To Hear the Rain." Someone ran off with my copy of the album shortly after it was released in the late 70s :-\ Idiot never brought it back.
Thanks.
Regards,
Stack.

Alex...my goodness, my friend...I have thought about you so many times. It's good to see you again here on your website. Looks like your life has changed so since we last talked about fifteen years ago (can you believe how quickly time has flown?) when I was in Nashville. I am in Charleston, SC now...moved here from Dallas about three years ago...so my life has changed drastically, as well.
You sound like you're still doing great things, and by that I'm not surprised. I know the Lord will use you mightily, because the gifts and talents He has blessed you with are enormous and extraordinary.
My music career has slowed greatly since my move, but I did write a novel a year after I got here. It is still in the editing phase, of which I wonder, will ever cease.
If you are ever in South Carolina, please do remember me...I'd love to see you and catch up.

Hey Alex! I've missed you brother! You and I met at The Factory a few years back for a Los Lonely Boys/Ronnie Milsap Taping. I was working for The Fish at the time. Did a little promo with you at the old Lighthouse restaurant in Kingston Springs too (my son still has the cap you gave him). Would love to hear from you! God Bless!!

I`m sure you`ve been wondering why you don`t run in to me in Texas any more. Moved to SC in `81. Oddly enough I`ve been able to keep playing for my keep all these years. Couldn`t have asked for more. You taught for two years, I taught for six . You were smarter.

It's been a while. I retired from band directing in 2004. Was at the same school for 31 years. If you see or hear from Suzanne, tell her hello for me. I live in Florida now. Take care

I recently heard an exellent song "Takin“the back roads" recorded by Trini Lopez back in 1967. The song is credited to Anderson, Harvey & Morrison. Any of Alexander Harveys songs maybe?
